Midwest Level 2
Congratulations to Arya Dudipala for reaching the last round of the Consolation at the Girls 14s Midwest Level 2 last weekend in Indianapolis. She won 2 3 set matches, and her only loss was in the quarterfinals to the 1 seed and tournament champion.

Tournament Champions
Congratulations to the following tournament champions from last weekend. At the Racquet Club Columbus 10s and 12s Singles Championships Dean Atway and Geetha Anne were Boys 12s and Girls 12s Champions. Reece Page and Jenny Zhang were finalists. Mihai Crisan and Emily Yoshino were Consolation Champions.
At Olympic's Bernard Master Junior Open Brayden Chawla and Colten Clark were Boys 12s and Boys 18s Champions.

National Selection Tournament Champion
Congratulations to Robert Cash for winning the National Selection Tournament Boys 16s Doubles last weekend in Austin, Texas. He and JJ Mercer from Huntington, WV defeated the 2 seeds 8-6 in the final. Robert also reached the Consolation Finals in Singles.

Columbus 75k Challenger
There is another ATP Challenger event coming to Columbus that starts this weekend. It runs November 19th through the 27th. It will be held at the Ohio State Varsity Indoor Courts and the qualifying stats this weekend. If interested in being a ball boy or ball girl, please email akossoff@marketingactivationsgroup.com

Congratulations to Robert Cash who got 3rd place at the Boys 18s Midwest Level 1 earlier this month in Dayton. He defeated the 5, 6, and 12 seeds. He fell to the 1 seed in 3 sets in the semifinals before winning the last match 6-1 6-3.

OHSAA Girls State Tournament
The Girls State Tournament will take place this Friday and Saturday at the Lindner Tennis Center in Mason Ohio.
Congratulations to all of the Girls from Central Ohio who qualified, including the D1 District Double Champions Masha Manilchuk and Ashley Weeks, as well as Upper Arlington teammates Nicole Holman and Evelyn Holman.

JTT Nationals
RCC has 2 14s teams competing at the Junior Team Tennis Nationals in Columbia, South Carolina.
The 14s Adv team today split their matches, defeating Missouri Valley 59-28 in the 1st match and falling to Mid-Atlantic 60-24 in the 2nd match. The team includes Dean Atway, Griffin Biernat, Maddie Atway, Caroline Sproule, Trevor Ball, Katherine Wang, Ella Hazelbaker and Pavan Uppu. They play Northern tomorrow morning.
The 14s Int team won both their matches defeating Mid-Atlantic 50-39 in their 1st match and defeating Southern 54-44 in their 2nd match. The team includes Sam Routzahn, Emma Wood, Wendy Shi, Nathan Yu, Noah Mizer, Shivesh Sankar, Emma Wang, Nick Geelan and Alex Graham. They play Missouri Valley tomorrow morning.

USTA Regional Champion
Congratulations to Maddie Atway who won the doubles and got 3rd in Singles at the USTA Girls 14s Regional Championships in Grand Rapids, Mi last weekend. Maddie and Isha Rao defeated the 2 seeds 8-2 in the final. Congratulations to Arya Dudipala also for defeating the 1 seeds and reaching the semifinals.

Columbus Challenger Ball Boys / Girls
There is an ATP Challenger event coming up at Ohio State starting this weekend. They need ball boys / girls. There will be a training session this Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at the Ohio State Indoor Tennis Center. There is another one on the weekend. If interested email akossoff@marketingactivationsgroup.com

Midwest Level 3 Champion
Congratulations to Maddie Atway who won the Girls 14s Singles and Doubles last weekend at the Midwest Level 3 Compass Draw in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She defeated 4 seeds in the singles, including a win in the 3rd set breaker in the finals, and defeated 4 seeds in the doubles.

National Doubles Champion
Congratulations to Robert Cash who won a Gold Ball winning the Boys 16s Doubles at the USTA National Doubles Championships in Winston Salem. He played with J.J. Mercer, who is from Huntington, W.V. The finals they defeated the 1 seeds in their closest match of the tournament, 6-7 6-4, 7-6. They came back from 0-4 down in the 3rd set tiebreaker to win 7-5.
RCC 10s Team Midwest Championships
The RCC 10s team got 3rd place at the JTT Midwest Championships earlier in the month in Indianapolis. The team coached by Mike Kathary was one game away from making the finals, as they finished tied for 1st in their flight. The team consisted of Libby Alderman, Pranjal Agochiya, Gabby Knueve, Isabella Roth, Sujan Sriram, Sanjan Shanker and Neil Reddy. They defeated North Shore elite. Isabella Roth won the Sportsmanship Award.

18s Adv Midwest Champs
The 18s Rcc Adv team won the Midwest JTT Championships last weekend in Indianapolis. The team was made up of Colten Clark, Connor Biernat, Jonathan Zhuravel, Jordan Phelps, Robert Cash, Alex Cash, Kathleen Jones, Paige Kompa and Zoey Weil. They played a strong Five Star team in the finals. Rcc came back to win 33-25 after dropping the mixed doubles court. Girls doubles won 8-1 and boys doubles won 8-4 to take the lead. The team is one of three Racquet Club teams to qualify for Nationals in South Carolina.

RCC 14s Adv Midwest Champions
The RCC 14s Advanced Team was one of 3 RCC teams to win the Midwest JTT Championships and qualify for Nationals. The team was made up of Caroline Sproule, Katherine Wang, Maddie Atway, Dean Atway, Griffin Biernat, Pavan Uppu and Trevor Ball. Zack Schwenning also helped coach the team. They entered their last match of their flight with a 5 game lead over Team Grissom, and narrowly escaped with a victory to put them in the finals. Maddie and Pavan won a very close mixed doubles to clinch the win. The team played Port Huron in the finals, and won all the courts except boys singles, in which Trevol Ball competed well to get 6 games. Caroline Sproule and Katherine won 8-1 to give the team a comfortable lead.
