Fitness Training Additions
We have added 3 additional days of Fitness Training to provide players with training necessary to meet the major physiological requirements of competing at an elite level.
We will still offer the Tuesday 6:00 - 7:00 Fitness Training Class, which will be designed at enhancing on court performance and preventing injuries, through developing speed, explosive power, core strength, balance and agility. Players will also be provided with an assessment of their current fitness level, as well as a knowledge base to assist them in their own training.
In addition, we will offer Quickness and Explosive Movement Training on Thursdays from 6:00 - 6:30, and Saturdays from 11:00 - 12:00. This group will be more specifically focused on developing 1st step speed, explosiveness and agility.
We are also excited to offer Yoga, beginning on October 13th on Wednesdays from 6:00 - 7:15. This is the most complete workout for tennis and the best injury prevention program available. A certified Bikram Yoga instructor will conduct the class. The cost is $15.
