Thanksgiving Doubles Pie Tournament

The annual Doubles Pie Tournament was held on Wednesday.  There were 4 divisions.  Congratulations to the following pie winners:  Griffin Biernat, Nick Geelan, Kai Britz, Rohan Gupta, Robert Cash, Jessica Phelps, George Liu and Jason Liu.

Ping Pong Tournament

The 2nd Annual Racquet Club Table Tennis Tournament was held last weekend at The Columbus Table Tennis Club.  Congratulations to Rohith Koneru and Nikhil Rangaswamy for winning the tournament.  Defending champs Elliot Jones and Ryan Young were very close in the finals.
Another tournament will be scheduled hopefully in January.

Boys 14s National Level 5 Doubles

Congratulations to tournament champions Jack Dabek / Robert Cash and tournament finalists Connor Biernat / Colten Clark.  They reached the Finals last weekend at the Midwest (National Level 4) Doubles Tournament in Cincinnati.

National Level 5 Doubles Girls 14s

Congratulations to Masha Manilchuk for reaching the Finals of the Girls 14s National Level 5 Doubles Tournament in Dayton last weekend with Kathleen Jones.
Congratulations to Sarina Xie and Zoey Weil for winning the Consolation.

Wickertree 14s

Congratulations to Girls 14s Tournament Champion Victoria Fan and Finalist and Nari Johnson.   Congratulations to Alex Heiden who reached the finals of the Boys 14s at Wickertree last weekend.

Girls Doubles Tournament

The Racquet Club had a Girls Doubles Tournament last Friday night.  Sarina Xie / Zoey Weil and Victoria Fan / Nari Johnson finished 1st and 2nd.

Table Tennis Tournament 11/23

There will be a Table Tennis Tournament Saturday 11/23 at 5:00 P.M.  This is the 2nd RCC Table Tennis Tournament, and will be held at the Columbus Table Tennis Club, located at 2901 Olentangy River Road.
The cost is $15 to enter.  This is a team tournament and players will play singles and doubles.  Players may sign up with or without a partner.  Register by emailing rccjuniortennis@gmail.com.

Tournament Champion

Congratulations to Paige Kompa for winning the Girls 14s Five Seasons Fall Championships in Dayton last weekend.  Congratulations also to Neha Dudipala for reaching the semifinals.

Metka / Kobelt win Consolation Bracket

Congratulations to Kevin Metka and Peter Kobelt for winning the 2nd round Doubles Consolation Bracket at the ITA National Indoors this weekend.  They won 4 matches at the tournament, and defeated the 3 seeds Marcos Giron and Mackenzie McDonald from UCLA 8-7 in the Final.  Giron is a former Easter Bowl Champion and Junior Orange Bowl finalist.  McDonald qualified for the Cincinnati Masters tournament this summer beating 2 top 100 players Steve Johnson and Nicolas Mahut.
