Congratulations to Ella Hazelbaker for winning the Girls 12s at the U.A. Open and Nicole Holman for defeating the 1 seed and reaching the finals of the Girls 16s last weekend.

The 5th Line

Griffin Biernat got Brandon Dubinsky's stick last night after the Jackets fell to the Pens in Game 6 of a great series.  After giving up a hat trick to Malkin and a 4-0 lead, the Jackets battled back to 4-3, but the comeback fell short.

Big 10 Champs

Ohio State won the Big 10 Tennis Tournament yesterday, giving them 9 regular season titles in a row, and 8 of the last 9 conference tournament championships.
They defeated Illinois 4-2 in East Lansing, MI.
Kevin Metka was victorious at 2 doubles 8-4 with Herkko Pollanen, and at 6 singles 6-4 7-6 over Alex Jesse.  Hunter Callahan won the clinching match at 5 singles.
The match will be aired on Big 10 Network on May 8th at 7:00 P.M.

RTC Regional Training Camp

Robert Cash and Nathan Jose were invited to train at the RTC Regional Training Camp last weekend.  The camp was held at the USTA Regional Training Center at Five Seasons in Northbrook, Il.

Midwest Level 3 Championships

Congratulations to Trevor Ball for reaching the Consolation Finals at the Midwest Level 3 Championships last weekend in Dayton.

In the Boys 14s in Toledo, Jordan Phelps defeated 2 seeds, and Robert Cash reached the Consolation Semifinals.

10s Tournament

The Racquet Club hosted a 10 and Under tournament last weekend.  Congratulations to Reece Page for winning the Orange Ball division.  He played his brother Bryce in the finals, who went undefeated in his flight.
Abby Kashani-Motlagh was a finalist in the Girls 10s division.
Dean Atway was a finalist in the Boys 10s Green Ball tournament.

At Wickertree, Paige Kompa was a finalist in the Girls 16s.

George Liu - Off the Chart!

Congratulations to George Liu, for achieving perfect scores on the ACT and the SAT! George is a Junior at Worthington Kilbourne. District officials say they can't remember anyone acing both tests. He also has won multiple art awards, including a gold medal at a National Competition last year at Carnegie Hall.

At Elysium, Neha Dudipala was a finalist and Erin Zhao got 3rd place in the Girls 14s.
Trevor Ball won the Boys 14s consolation.

Adithya Nair won the Boys 14s Consolation at Wickertree.
