Midwest Closed Champions

Congratulations to the Boys and Girls 14s Midwest Closed Doubles Champions!
Paige Kompa and Zoey Weil won the Girls 14s against the 2 seeds Emily Desai and Karina Miller 6-2 7-5.
Jack Dabek and Robert Cash won their 3rd straight Midwest Closed dropping only one game in the final against the 2 seeds Michael Bukhalo and Andrew Zhang.

MIdwest Closed Finals

Congratulations to Paige Kompa who is in the Girls 14s Doubles Final today at the Midwest Closed with Zoey Weil.  Robert Cash and Jack Dabek are in the Boys 14 Doubles Final.

Midwest closed 16s

Congrats to Jonathan Zhuravel for defeating the #1 ranked player in the Midwest in 14s Anand Saluja 6-2 6-1 in the 1st round of the Boys 16s Midwest Closed in Indianapolis. 

2015 Midwest Team Cup Champions

Ohio Valley won the 14s Midwest Team Cup held at Purdue last weekend.  The team coached by Bryan Nibert and Gabe Higgs won a close match in the finals against the defending champions Central Indiana.  With 3 matches left on court, Robert Cash won the clinching match 11-9 in the 3rd set tie breaker.  Robert and Jack Dabek went a combined 15-0 on the weekend.  The other team members included Nathan Jose, JJ Mercer, Saiprakosh Goli, Peyton Stearns, Zoey Weil and Caitlin Fisher.

Congratulations to the all the players who picked up hardware at the OVTA District Championships and those who qualified to compete at the Midwest Closed this weekend.

Congratulations to the 3 teams that won the Ohio Valley District Doubles Championships.
Griffin Biernat and Devin Boyer won the Boys 12s in Cincinnati.
Paige Kompa and Zoey Weil on the Girls 14s in Dayton.
Robert Cash and Jack Dabek won the Boys 14s in Parkersburg.

Ohio Valley Sportsmanship Award Winners

Congratulations to Reece Page, Erin Zhao and Alex Heiden for winning the Sportsmanship award at the OVTA District Championships.  Reece won in the Boys 10s in Cincinnati, Erin won in the Girls 14s in Dayton, and Alex won the Boys 14s in Parkersburg.

Northwest Ohio District Championships

Congratulations to Arya and Neha Dudipala for finishing 1st and 3rd in the Northwest Ohio District Championships this weekend.
Arya won the Girls 12s championship and Neha got 3rd in the Girls 14s.

Columbus Sweet 16 Championships

The 1st Annual Boys and Girls 14s Columbus Sweet 16 Championships were last weekend.  Congratulations to Arya Dudipala and Madison Spiess for winning the Girls 14s.  

Neha Dudipala and Evelyn Holman reached the Girls 14s finals. 

Congratulations to Griffin Biernat and Devin Boyer for reaching the Boys 14s finals.  Pavan Uppu and Lance Li got 3rd place.
