Wooden on Competitive Greatness and Leadership

Legendary Coach John Wooden

Competitive Greatness - "A real love for the hard battle, knowing it offers the opportunity to be at your best when your best is required."

R. Kipling - Poise - "If you can meet triumph and disaster
And treat both of those impostors just the same..."

The ultimate reward is the competitive process itself rather than some subsequent gain or glory brought about by winning.
