Metka / Kobelt win Consolation Bracket

Congratulations to Kevin Metka and Peter Kobelt for winning the 2nd round Doubles Consolation Bracket at the ITA National Indoors this weekend.  They won 4 matches at the tournament, and defeated the 3 seeds Marcos Giron and Mackenzie McDonald from UCLA 8-7 in the Final.  Giron is a former Easter Bowl Champion and Junior Orange Bowl finalist.  McDonald qualified for the Cincinnati Masters tournament this summer beating 2 top 100 players Steve Johnson and Nicolas Mahut.
